The School of St Jude is currently seeking a motivated, experienced, and passionate professional to join its team as an Assistant Team Lead – Community Relations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Team Lead – Community Relations will support the Community Relations team in developing and maintaining positive relationships between the school, students, families, local communities, and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will assist in coordinating community engagement activities, supporting communication initiatives, and ensuring that the school's relationships with communities remain respectful, productive, and aligned with its mission and values.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about education and community development.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Team Lead – Community Relations may be responsible for:
- Supporting the Team Lead in planning and implementing community relations strategies and activities.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, guardians, community members, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting with community outreach programs and engagement initiatives.
- Supporting the organization of meetings, events, workshops, and community activities.
- Responding professionally to community concerns, questions, and feedback.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure effective communication with communities.
- Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and other community-relations documentation.
- Helping monitor community engagement activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Promoting the school's mission, values, and commitment to educational opportunity.
- Providing leadership and guidance to team members when required.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have relevant qualifications and experience in community relations, communications, social development, education, public relations, or a related field.
